Definition

A novena is a nine-day period of private or public prayer to seek special graces, favors, or petitions. The Novena to the Archangels invokes the intercession of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and others recognized in Catholic tradition, for protection, guidance, healing, and blessings to fulfill God’s will.
